Games I Recommend for Winter Break

I am going to use this post to talk about video games I have been playing lately so if you want suggestions or are just curious stick around :)

Switch Games:

Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing is a relaxing experience based on a real-time clock mechanic. You can fish, catch bugs, and build an entire island entirely to your aesthetic. If you like simple games that you can play with others, this is for you. This is the second most popular game on switch, so if you already own a switch I am guessing you already own this game, but if you don't own a switch this is a good game to start out with, as the content never really ends.

Katamari Damacy REROLL

This is a remake of an older game that came out for PS2. All of the stars have fallen out of the sky, and a God creates you with the goal of having you roll things up from different planets to recreate the stars. The music is upbeat and funky and the game is frustrating but enjoyable, if you enjoy older games from the PS2 era, this is a classic you need to try.

PC Games:

Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact is an open-world exploration game. If you enjoy fighting games, or games that are heavy on the story side, this game has a great story and is still getting update regularly. This is a Gacha game though, so if you know you have a gambling addiction, it would be best to stay away. If you can manage your spending then this is a great game and not to mention it is completely free to download and play, so there is no harm in trying it.

Stardew Valley

Stardew valley is another game similar to animal crossing. You can own a farm and romance the people in this small town. Once you start playing this game, you will get sucked into it for hours. This game always goes on sale on steam for $8, and you get way more than $8 out of this game. You can even make a farm with up to 8 of your friends, and its extremely fun to play with other people.

Mobile Games:

Cookie Run Kingdom

If you are aware of  Clash of Clans, this is another game similar to that. Grow your kingdom, and get cookies to level up. You can build up teams and then fight against enemies or other players teams. A very generous Gacha game that is constantly giving free items. The cookies are super cute and the story is actually pretty deep for it being about cookie.
